Falooda is a very simple dessert with a flavor of rose and vanilla 🙂 It requires few ingredients and can be made in few minutes.
Serving: 2 person
Milk – 3 cups
Rose Syrup – 2 tbsp
Sabja seeds/basil seeds/takhmaria – 2 tbsp
Falooda vermicelli – 1 cup
Pistachio and rose petals – for garnishing
Vanilla ice cream – 4 small scoops
Soak 2 tbsp basil seeds in 1 cup of water and let it rest atleast 30 minutes before using it.
Boil 2 cups of water and cook faloofa vermicelli for 3-4 minutes till it becomes tender and strain excess water and let it cool. (Make sure that everything is cool down completely at a before serving)
Mix 3 cups of chilled milk with 2 tbsp rose syrup. (If your rose syrup is not sweet and if you feel to add more rose syrup, then you can do according to your taste)
For assembling :
In the glass, add 2 tbsp basil seeds, 1/2 cup falooda vermicelli, 1.5 cups of rose milk, 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and garnish it with pistachio and rose petals.
(You can always change the measurement for vermicelli and basil seeds as per your liking)
